The Head of Mission, Ambassador Abigail Kwashi, held an introductory business meeting with Finnish companies and key stakeholders, aimed at strengthening economic and commercial relations between Ghana and Finland.
The meeting, hosted by Rödl (a law firm) in Finland, brought together representatives from Finnish government institutions, Finnish companies operating in Ghana, and members of the Ghanaian diaspora, including the Ghana Union Finland.
The engagement provided a platform for the Embassy and Finnish stakeholders to exchange insights on their respective activities, while exploring new avenues for collaboration and investment. The Ambassador also briefed participants on Ghana’s current economic landscape and investment policies, highlighting opportunities for strategic partnerships.
Discussions identified several priority sectors for cooperation, including renewable energy, digital infrastructure, education, and sustainable mining, with participants expressing strong interest in translating these opportunities into concrete, mutually beneficial partnerships.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the shared commitment of Ghana and Finland to deepening economic cooperation and advancing sustainable development through strengthened partnerships.
